 Abstract:  La colección documental de Adalberto Guerrero contiene documentos recopilados por el educador Tucsonense y previo Decano Asistente de Asuntos Estudiantiles de la Universidad de Arizona, Adalberto “Beto” Guerrero. Uno de los primeros defensores de la educación bicultural y bilingüe, los registros de Guerrero incluyen correspondencia, reportes, ensayos, y artículos relacionados con sus esfuerzos en el campo, al igual que su testimonio ante el Congreso en apoyo de la Ley de Educación Bilingüe de 1968.  Abstract:  George Blier was a histotechnologist who was stationed at the U.S. Army 361st Station Hospital in Toyko, Japan from about 1947-1948. There he established and ran what was at the time the largest medical laboratory in the Far East. Returning to the United States he worked as a histotechnologist in various locations. He was a founding member of the National Society for Histotechnology. The collection contains laboratory procedures manuals dating from his time in Tokyo at the 361st Station Hospital (1947-1948) and also some papers papers relating to the National Society for Histotechnology (mainly 1977-1978).

 Abstract:  University of Arizona Women's Athletics and Physical Education Papers (1917-1981) contain documents detailing the history of women’s physical education and athletics at the University. These records were generated primarily by the Department of Physical Education for Women, led by Ina Gittings from 1920-1955. The records include documents, correspondence and photographs pertaining to physical education and varsity intramural sports. National, regional, and university level athletic organizations for college women and administrators are also documented. A small segment of records detail intercollegiate athletic organizations and newspaper clippings of women’s sports competitions under the leadership of athletics administrator, Mary Roby, from 1959-1981.
